About Legado

At Legado Usinagem, innovation, technology and quality are our pillars. We develop high-precision metal tools and parts for the aeronautical, space and wind power sectors.

We are certified in the ISO 9001 and AS 9100D quality management standards, ensuring the quality and reliability of our processes and products.

Our expertise allows us to produce critical components, such as the VSB-30 Rocket Engine Envelopes, in addition to offering solutions in the development of machines, tools and machining of serial parts, always focusing on excellence and customer satisfaction.

Legado Usinagem also emerged as a reference in production for high-tech sectors such as aeronautics, wind and space, being the only national company to fully develop the manufacturing process of propellant (motor envelope) for rockets.

Our structure

With 2,000m² of built area, Legado Usinagem’s industrial park is equipped with development engineering and manufacturing engineering sectors, and a quality laboratory with state-of-the-art machinery. Our CNC machining has 5-axis machining centers of up to 3,000mm and CNC lathes with driven tools. We also offer special welding to meet customized and highly complex projects, ensuring precision and excellence in each product.

ISO 9001:2015

More than certification, ISO 9001: 2015 ensures a better customer experience. That’s because to win it, the company must comply with the strict Quality Management System (QMS) standards, which prove the ability to offer products and services that meet the needs of the market.

AS9100D:2016

This certification is, like ISO9001, a Quality Management System established by the international aerospace community and widely spread among companies in the industry. Manufacturers and suppliers in the segment need to comply with international quality standards, which specify the additional requirements to ensure the high level of the industry.
